BIRTH DOULA SUPPORT

   BASIC BIRTH SUPPORT PACKAGE

· A FREE CONSULTATION in person or via Zoom, phone to decide whether we are a good match for each other.

· THREE ANTENATAL VISITS (Each 2 HOURS LONG) in your own home. The first discusses your needs in labour and helps you make a set of birth preferences should you want one. The other two are designed to help you and your partner/supporting person to prepare yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally for birth. To answer all your questions.

· CONTINUOUS SUPPORT via WhatsApp, phone, or email from the time of booking until 6 weeks after your baby is born.

· ON-CALL 24/7 service from 2 weeks before your ‘due date’ until the birth of your baby (week38/39).

· ATTENDANCE AT YOUR BIRTH until a few hours after birth.

· TWO POSTPARTUM FOLLOW UP VISITS (each 3 hours long) to support you in your new role as a parent within 6 weeks after the baby is born.

COST: €900 (+travel expenses)

*Non-refundable deposit of €400 is due at signing a contract. 

*The full balance must be cleared by 36 weeks of pregnancy.

*Travel expenses for each antenatal and postpartum visit charged outside a 30km radius (calculated based on the distance between your home and Wexford town). Can be paid day before or at the arrival.

*Payment plans and discounts available for teens and lower income people/ families.

  Basic postpartum doula package (12 hours)

· 4 three-hour long visits once a week after your baby/babies are born to help with the new transition and routine. 

Cost: €350 (+travel expenses)

Nurturing postpartum doula package (24 hours)

· 8 three-hour long visits after your baby/ babies are born, giving you a good opportunity to transition into your new routine and feel supported on your journey. 

Cost: €700 (+travel expenses)

One postpartum visit 3 hours long :   €75 (+travel expenses)

*If booked before your baby arrives, you will get a 1-hour antenatal visit to connect for free.

What is included in postpartum doula support package?

· Emotional support: I will provide a compassionate and nonjudgmental space for you and your partner to express your feelings and concerns about you birth and postpartum experience. I will offer encouragement, reassurance, and a listening ear during this transition period.

· Infant care assistance: I can offer guidance on newborn care techniques such as feeding (breastfeeding or bottle-feeding), bathing, soothing techniques, and safe sleep practices. I can help you to understand your baby’s cues and development milestones.

· Maternal care: I can support physical and emotional recovery of you and your partner. I can provide information on postpartum nutrition, self-care practices, and coping strategies for common postpartum challenges as sleep deprivation, breastfeeding difficulties, or postpartum mood disorders.

· Household tasks: I will assist you with light household chores such as meal preparation, laundry, tidying up, and running errands, allowing you and your partner to focus on bonding with your newborn and resting.

· Sibling support: If there are older siblings in the family, I can provide support and age-appropriate activities to help siblings adjust to the new family dynamics and bond with the new baby.

· Referrals and resources: I can connect your family with community resources, support groups, lactation consultants, mental health professionals and other healthcare providers as needed.

  Cost: €60 per 60 min session,  €90 per 90 min session
